Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR)
Location: Wenatchee, WA
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM
Required Qualifications: WA State / Compact Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure; current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications; at least 1 year of experience; knowledge of craniotomy and retina procedures; required to take call; required to float as a sitter and in rotation.

Responsibility Highlights:
- Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit standards
- Develops, implements, and reassesses individualized care plans
- Administers medications, performs nursing procedures, and treatments
- Evaluates discharge plans and educational needs
- Documents assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Collects patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care
- Performs holistic assessments and responds appropriately
- Determines and executes nursing actions to meet care goals, addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
- Teaches patient and family health information promptly and clearly
- Maintains current knowledge of workflows, evidence-based procedures, and organizational standards
- Delegates effectively and oversees care provided by assistive personnel
- Participates in performance and quality improvement processes
- Collaborates with the healthcare team and maintains a safe environment
