Job Summary
Endoscopy Technician (ENDO LAB TECH) This position is based in a healthcare facility, supporting the GI Laboratory. The role involves assisting with inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and Navigation bronch procedures. The technician will work a standard day shift with intermittent call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Position Description: HWL Requisition: 2026-119125 No local candidates within 50 miles.
- Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with intermittent weeknight and weekend call.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in endoscopy or related field.
- Additional Information: The technician will participate in inpatient and outpatient GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and Navigation bronch procedures. Holiday coverage includes working at least two major holidays (such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Day) and one minor holiday (such as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve). The start date is October 12, 2026, with an end date of January 9, 2027.
