Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout operative processes. The role offers a seasonal winter rate, with the potential for float between units and facilities.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, valid state license (compact license acceptable), at least 1 year of OR experience, and current certifications as specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, laparoscopic procedures, and robotic surgeries; familiarity with Epic charting system and prior community hospital experience.
• Responsibilities: Assisting in a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environment, monitoring patient condition, and supporting the surgical team. Candidates may be required to float to other units or facilities, including San Pedro.
• Additional Information: Must be available for 1 Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation and 2-3 on-call shifts every 6 weeks. Candidates should include RTO requests at the time of submission; late requests may not be accommodated.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding previous employment at Providence facilities, provide two references within the past 3 years covering at least 6 months each, and meet all licensing and experience prerequisites.
