Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Duluth, MN. This role involves providing high-quality acute care in a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center that sees approximately 75 patients daily. The position requires resilience and adaptability to manage a busy ER environment, with a focus on adult and pediatric trauma cases.

Job Details

  • Location: Duluth, MN
  • Position Description: ER RN Emergency Room RN with a focus on trauma and acute care, supporting a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center offering around 75 patient encounters daily.
  • Required Qualifications: MN RN licensure, ARC or AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, Associate Degree or Certificate, 2+ years of ER experience, at least one completed travel assignment, residence outside a 50-mile radius, strong trauma center experience, and experience with Epic charting preferred.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12-hour day/night shifts varying between 0700-1930 and 1900-0730; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric ER cases in trauma centers; ability to manage change and work resiliently; social skills suitable for fast-paced environments.
  • Additional Information: The role includes every other weekend and holiday rotations, with potential low census on call responsibilities. During flu season, mandatory masking policy applies for unvaccinated travelers.
