Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse in Green Bay, WI This position involves floating within various units of a healthcare provider, including observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care. The role supports high-quality patient care during PM shifts to ensure smooth clinical operations across different units.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active RN or Compact license, BLS (American Heart), and NIHSS certification (completion prior to end of orientation) are required. NIHSS certification is preferred at submission.
• Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of the healthcare provider.
• Experience: 1-2+ years of general Medical Surgical experience, including venipuncture and Cardizem administration. Experience with ports, Foley/straight catheters, and stable drips is necessary. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.
• Schedule: 8-hour PM shifts (3 pm 11:30 pm), 36 48 hours guaranteed per week, with potential overtime after 48 hours.
• Responsibilities include floating as needed within skillset, managing patient care, and adhering to unit and hospital protocols.
• Charting Experience: Epic experience strongly preferred within the past 2 years.
• Additional Notes: Must be resilient, manage time efficiently, and adapt well to change. No bright colors or character prints for scrubs.
• Submission Requirements: Active RN or Compact license, BLS, NIHSS certification (to be completed prior to end of orientation). Candidate must start medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance or 24 hours for a quick start.
