Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies for ER patients. The position requires delivering patient-centered care within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professional judgment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications, NIHSS certification; 2+ years of experience in emergency nursing; Epic experience; working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways; effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work; attention to detail in clinical and numerical data examination.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess patients, complete assessments, and individualize care plans within established guidelines. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for patient care, supporting discharge education, making timely referrals, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The role supports unit and hospital goals through participation in PI and educational activities, mandatory in-services, and accurate documentation.
