This Emergency Room (ER) nursing position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role requires delivering critical interventions and patient assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for diverse patient populations.
Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) nurse responsible for delivering urgent care, triage, and stabilization of patients experiencing acute health issues.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; active Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire; 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have or obtain American Heart Association (AHA) certifications as required. Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias, and certifications such as the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
