Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing technical patient care within a fast-paced, Level 2 trauma center environment. The technician will assist in surgical procedures, maintain sterile fields, and support operating room staff to ensure efficient patient care.

Job Details

• Certifications: Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association standards required.

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday with shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association standards; 2 years experience in OR, Trauma; prior travel experience required.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. The environment is extremely busy and fast paced, serving a 500-mile radius, as a Level 2 trauma center with Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient beds, and 80 ER beds. The position provides patient care of technical nature, assisting surgeons and supporting sterile procedures, equipment maintenance, and room turnover.
