Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department serving pediatric to geriatric patients. The RN will manage trauma stabilization, respiratory illnesses, stroke cases, behavioral health concerns, and more, supporting a team of healthcare professionals across multiple facilities within the region.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, 2 years of ER experience, location in Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas, and 0 years of experience minimum
Support within the Department: HCT/Unit Sec 1:8-10, Paramedic, Charge nurse (floating), Patient Safety Attendants, Pharmacist dedicated to ED 7a to 11p, Social Worker, Scheduler, RT 24/7, ED Physicians + Advanced Practice Providers, Geriatric APP, Hospitalist 24/7, Intensivist 24/7
Technology/Equipment: EMR (EPIC), IV Pump (Alaris), Med dispensing (Omnicell), Monitors (Phillips), Rover Communication, Panda Infant Warmer, LUCAS
Floating: Will be required to float per region needs to all facilities listed within scope of practice, region 2 facilities, and region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital).
Orientation: 2 days departmental in NEO
