Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in the Telemetry specialty is needed at a healthcare facility in the local area. This position involves providing specialized patient care for adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on monitoring cardiac and other vital signs. The role requires experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management, supporting a dynamic and interdisciplinary clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The clinician must have experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management. The assignment is for an acute care hospital with 37 beds, and may include floating to other units as needed.
• Certifications & Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS certification, and NIHSS are required. A valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience, and experience with charting systems such as Epic are necessary.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/02/2026 and ending 02/01/2027.
• Responsibilities: Managing ventilated patients, tracheostomy care, cardiac telemetry monitoring, medication administration, interpreting ABGs and dysrhythmias, and ensuring patient safety and comfort within the telemetry unit.
• Additional Information: The role may require floating to nearby units, and travel compliance policies apply. Candidates must include responses regarding prior work at Providence facilities, provide two recent references, and be prepared for mandatory modules during orientation.
