Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse - Bakersfield, CA. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy emergency department environment. The role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in an emergency room setting, supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and healing.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, 2 years of emergency room experience.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Recent EPIC experience required. Greater than 2 years of experience preferred, ideally three or more. The facility will not accommodate block scheduling or any special scheduling requests. The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/24/2027.
