Job Summary
Pediatric Float Nurse Iowa Days Shift. This position involves providing pediatric care across various units, including Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Oncology/Hematology. The role requires flexibility to float across pediatric specialties and units as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active Iowa (IA) license or multistate license, BLS (American Heart Association), and PALS (American Heart Association). Pediatric experience within the previous 18 months and electronic medical record experience within the previous 12 months.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 12/07/2026 through 03/08/2027.
• Responsibilities: Provide pediatric patient care, float across ED, NICU, PICU, and pediatric oncology/hematology units as required, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience within the past 18 months, EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the past 12 months, and experience working in pediatric specialties.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have 12 months of pediatric experience, a specific skills checklist relevant to pediatrics, and references from within the last 24 months. A valid drivers license is required.
