Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in en_US This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a facility setting, focusing on patient safety and outcomes. The RN will perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient recovery during their assigned shift.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Embraces the core values of the organization, including a strong focus on patient and employee safety, teamwork, and results-oriented practices.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience, with critical care experience highly desired.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops and updates care plans, and initiates discharge planning from day one. Provides patient education, documents accurately and timely, and participates in team activities to create a positive work environment. Ensures safety standards are maintained and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for patient care.
