This role requires delivering high-level critical care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), with a focus on acuity, advanced procedures, and maintaining exceptional standards of patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Position Description: Travel RN for MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) in Dallas, TX, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, CCRN certification preferred.
• Responsibilities: Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU-specific interventions. Maintain proper dress code including royal blue scrubs, neat grooming standards, and body art coverage as per unit policies.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating policy as needed based on staffing requirements; attendance policy consistent with organizational standards.
