Job Summary
Gunnison, Colorado Obstetrics (OB) Nursing Manager position within the Labor and Delivery Department. This role involves supervising patient care, nursing staff, and OB operations, working collaboratively with the leadership team to ensure efficient clinical operations, staff development, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives. The OB Nursing Manager must also be skilled in People Leadership and able to take bedside shifts as needed.

Job Details

Position Description: Obstetrics (OB) Nursing Manager is a registered nurse with demonstrated expertise in nursing. The OB Nursing Manager has responsibility for the supervision of patient care, nursing staff, and OB operations. The OB Nursing Manager works collaboratively with the Leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations, staff development, effective management of resources, and quality improvement in the OB.
Required Qualifications: RN License current in the state of Colorado or a compact state; minimum graduation from an accredited school of nursing; 3 years of training and experience in OB Nursing; leadership experience within the last 2 years; schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Please review all job description notes and meet certifications. Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required. Rural Gunnison does not have public transportation, which will require the traveler to have access to a reliable source of transportation.
