Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse, Night Shift, Location: The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced nurse for a 12-hour night shift position in a step down unit. The role involves providing specialized patient care for adult populations, particularly cardiac and respiratory patients, with a focus on safety and clinical excellence. The position requires flexibility to meet staffing needs and orientations scheduled starting October 26th, 2026.
Job Details

- Shift Hours: 12-hour nights (7 PM 7 AM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Schedule: Stepdown - 12H Nights 7p-7a (NO BLOCK SCHEDULE OFFERED; MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO MEET THE STAFFING NEEDS OF THE UNIT)
- Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: Must have a valid TN license or compact license, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Must hold BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Additional information: Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays, with all time-off requests submitted and limited to one holiday.
- Schedule starting: 11/16/2026, ending 02/13/2027
- Travel required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission requirement: IVS to interview; Manager to make offer.
