Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The position requires a dedicated professional to support patient needs in a fast-paced environment, adhering to clinical standards and safety protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license accepted at submission
- Location Requirements: Licensed to practice in the state of assignment; no travel restrictions specified
- Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required, 2 years preferred
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery, with experience in procedures such as sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care. Candidates should be prepared for potential float between nearby facilities and to work holidays as specified. References covering the past 3 years are required, along with the ability to respond to screening questions regarding previous employment at any Providence facilities.
