Job Summary
The ICU Neuro (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) in a Level 1 Trauma center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. The position involves providing specialized care to neuro-intensive patients in a busy, high-acuity environment, with a focus on critical neurological conditions and trauma.

Job Details

• Location: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 11/30/2026
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU neuro setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital, previous travel nursing experience, and working in a busy hospital environment
• Responsibilities: Provide patient care specific to neurological and trauma patients, work within a high-volume facility, and be adaptable to floating shifts as needed
• Certifications: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required
• Schedule: Days, every other week (EOW), with variable scheduling based on hospital needs
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible on scheduling and open to floating. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years' experience, travel background, and relevant ICU neuro expertise. Charting is completed via EPIC electronic health record system.
