Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse (Specialty: Telemetry) The organization is seeking a skilled Telemetry Nurse to join the healthcare team on nights. The role involves providing specialized patient care to adults in an acute care hospital setting, with responsibilities including interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias, and ensuring high-quality patient monitoring and safety. The position requires a dedicated professional ready to work a 12-hour night shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

  • Position: Telemetry Nurse (Specialty: Telemetry)
  • Location: Night shift in an acute care hospital setting
  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and NURSYS registration, with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Current license required at time of submittal.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias; experience with EPIC charting system; previous hospital telemetry experience.
  • Additional Clinical Details: The role involves caring for adult patients with diagnoses such as COVID-19, unstable cardiac conditions (heart failure, atrial fibrillation, myocardial infarction), and renal failure. Special procedures include Peritoneal Dialysis. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and social services.

  • Submission Requirements: Applying candidates must have facial hair that allows proper fit testing unless shaved, and must complete required labs and modules in the specified timeline.
