Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse High Risk Obstetrics, Level 2 NICU This position involves caring for laboring patients with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater. The role includes managing C-sections, external cephalic versions, and providing postpartum care within a Level 2 Special Care Nursery setting at a healthcare facility.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP. Valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse license required at the time of submission.
• Education Requirement: Valid Kansas or Compact RN license.
• Location Requirements: 50-mile local radius; locals are not accepted.
• Years of Experience: 0.0 years minimum.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include care of the laboring patient including high-risk conditions, assisting with C-sections and external cephalic versions, postpartum care, and neonatal assessments.
• Experience with management of high-risk labor and delivery is preferred.
• The position may require floating to like units based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided.
• Prior experience in high-acuity labor and delivery units, including maternal-fetal medicine, is desirable but not mandatory.
