Step Down Unit registered nurse in an unspecified location. Job Details

• Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 am to 7:30 am, for 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; associate degree in nursing or active matriculation in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program; minimum two (2) years of RN experience with cardiology, telemetry, or ventricular assist device (VAD); two (2) years of relevant clinical experience; one (1) year travel experience preferred for travel positions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes patient care management, critical thinking skills, patient assessment, and intervention skills. Knowledge of Epic electronic health record experience is preferred. Clinical responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care based on the nursing process, ensuring safety, and participating in quality improvement activities.
