Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position is available in Naperville, IL. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with high-acuity conditions, including respiratory failure, multisystem organ failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, general surgeries, vascular surgeries, alcohol and drug withdrawal, and behavioral health patients. The position offers a dynamic environment within a level 2 trauma center, supporting experienced nursing professionals.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: IL Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; at least 3 years of recent ICU experience in high-acuity settings.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Provide high-level critical care to diverse patient populations, monitor patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, collaborate with healthcare team members, and ensure quality patient care.
• Additional Information: The position involves float to other ICU and inpatient units within the facilityfirst to float. The contract length is 12 weeks, starting on 10/18/2026, with scheduled shifts of 12 hours. Must submit a resume, two references (supervisor or charge nurse within 12 months), skills checklist, license verification, active certifications, and cover letter. Credentials are due the Thursday prior to the start date.
