Job Summary
Endoscopy Lab Nurse or Surgical Technician Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves supporting procedural activities in a busy endoscopy unit within a level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. The role requires technical proficiency in intra procedural procedures such as biopsies, ERCP, and foreign body retrieval, with a focus on adult patient care and procedural support.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Education Requirements: RN degree for RNs or Certified Surgical Technology Program for Surgical Techs.
- Experience: At least 0 years of experience required.
- Specialty: Endoscopy Lab, Gastroenterology (Pre/Intra/Post Procedure).
- Position Type: RN and/or Surgical Techs, # of Openings: 1.
- Additional information: Procedural Tech experience a must. Must have intra procedural level and Gastroenterology experience, including skills such as biopsy, balloon dilatation, ERCP procedures, clip application, foreign body retrieval, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, providing support for critical actions, and troubleshooting equipment with minimal prompting.
