Job Details

• Position Description:
  Provides nursing care in an Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on cardiac and post-operative recovery, including cardiac catheterization, pacemakers, and COPD management. The unit features private beds, patient ratios of 1:5 during days and nights, and utilizes electronic health record systems for charting.
• Required Qualifications:
  Current IL license in hand; BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting; experience with EPIC electronic medical record system; preferred travel experience; positive attitude; ICU experience a plus.
• Schedule:
  Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
• Additional Information:
  Must have a valid drivers license for submission consideration. The unit requires experience with titrable drips such as Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, and dobutamine. Float to ICU or Med-Surg may be required, with a preference for candidates within 50 miles of the facility. Scrub color: Caribbean scrubs. The unit conducts a clinical prescreen as part of the hiring process; the hiring manager has 24 hours to accept or decline candidates recommended after prescreening.
