Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) This position is located at a healthcare facility where the RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in the ICU. The role involves supervising clinical staff, performing assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, and a minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
- Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Responsible for accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses. Initiates discharge planning from the day of admission and provides patient education. Collaborates with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring safety and quality outcomes. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, supports continuity of care, and participates in team-building activities. Assumes charge responsibility following orientation and actively pursues professional growth through continuing education.
