Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Wichita, Kansas. This position involves providing high-quality care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery within a busy LDRP unit. The role requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes and safety.

Job Details

Position: Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D)
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Kansas licensure, minimum 6 months current Labor and Delivery Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, monitoring fetal status, and providing patient education and support during labor and postpartum stages.
The unit features advanced fetal monitoring equipment, Panda Warmers, and Novi + Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Preferred candidates may have experience in newborn care, fetal monitoring, NRP, and C/S circulating procedures.
Additional information: Candidates must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior and demonstrate patient care excellence, adaptability, and teamwork.
