Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor RN Night Shift Location Not Specified. This position involves providing care primarily on a comprehensive Medical Surgical unit, with occasional floating to various other Med-Surg units such as Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders. The role requires proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems and background in Telemetry and Stepdown nursing.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor (Specialty: MS)
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Certifications & Education: Active Basic Life Support (BLS); Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency required (refresher classes or 1:1 sit-in not options)
• Location Requirements: Location not specified
• Start Date: 11/16/2026
• End Date: 02/15/2027
• Shift Details: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend required
• Additional Information:
  • The RN will primarily work on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit but will also float across various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders, etc.
  • Competency testing in Telemetry reading will be conducted on day one; failure to pass results in termination.
  • All submitted candidates must be current Epic EMR proficient; refresher training or sit-in options are not available.
  • Only one submission per traveler, per agency, per specialty is permitted.
  • Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract, which may not be limited to 12-hour shifts.
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) must be disclosed at the time of submission and included in the confirmation to be honored.
