Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Location: unspecified. This position involves providing patient care in a busy acute care setting with a focus on general medical patients. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to clinical standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.

- Position Description:
The RN will work in a 31-bed MedSurg Acute Care unit, caring for patients with various diagnoses. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, titrating drips such as Heparin, troubleshooting oxygen requirements, and utilizing unit resources for patient care. The unit operates 24/7 with a team of PCTs and remote telemetry monitors. - Required Qualifications:
Active IL RN license or initiation of application process, BLS certification from AHA, minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred, and ability to read telemetry strips. - Schedule:
Nights: 7:00 pm 7:00 am, 36 hours per week, with shifts including every other weekend and holiday rotation. - Additional Information:
New travelers will typically undergo a two-shift orientation with a unit preceptor. The unit has in-house RT staff 24/7 and pharmacy support around the clock. - Submission Requirements:
Applicants must provide the last four digits of their SSN, confirm active IL licensure or application status, and understand the campus is drug-free with mandatory negative drug screening.
