Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in a healthcare facility. This 13-week contract position involves providing high-quality patient care in a 32-bed unit with a focus on post-operative care, drip titration, and non-titration drips. The role requires flexibility with shift rotations and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Job Details
- Location: 3South, 3rd Floor, NAMC South Wing
- Position Description: CONTRACT - RN - PCU/IMC (Intensive Monitoring Care) 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; weekends rotate
- Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), candidate must have at least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Patient Care Responsibilities: Pre and post-operative care, drip titration and non-titration drips, patient monitoring, medication administration.
- Staff Composition: 9 RNs, 3 PCTs, 2 Tele Monitor Techs per shift
- Equipment and Technology: Patient-specific IV pumps, SCD pumps, Bipap/Cpap machines, Tele monitor
- Unit Profile: 32 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4, EMR system is Meditech
- Additional Information: Candidates with a willingness to grow and learn, positive attitude, and flexibility with schedule are encouraged to apply.
