Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within the interventional radiology specialty. The position requires delivering patient-centered care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; zero to six months of related experience; completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience; NIHSS; Omnicell; PALS; ICU experience; minimum of 1 year interventional radiology experience.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to care for interventional radiology patients.
- Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established guidelines.
- Carry out nursing care considering cultural and psychosocial factors and patient ages.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare disciplines to support patient care and unit goals.
- Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and concisely.
- Support patient discharge planning and education, utilizing available resources.
- Attend mandatory in-services and meet unit education standards.
- Make independent judgments and prioritize patient care tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
