Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) Location: Not Specified. This position requires floating between units within a rehabilitation facility with a total of 91 beds. The Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with established standards and practices, adapting to various unit needs and patient conditions. The role involves night shifts, ensuring consistent coverage and quality care delivery.
Job Details
- Position Description: 1st timer MS RN requiring at least 1 year of experience, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). The role involves floating across units in a rehabilitation hospital setting.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS certification, at least 1 year of RN experience, current applicable state license (compact license accepted).
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per workweek.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of RN experience, experience in Medical Surgical nursing, proficiency with Rapid Response and/or Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, PPE and isolation precautions, charting system experience in any electronic system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in community hospital settings, familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Additional Information: Staff may be required to work three of the five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates should be prepared to float between units and possibly between nearby facilities.
