Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a medical-surgical unit within a healthcare facility. The position requires flexibility to float between units and deliver quality patient care during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Education Requirements & Experience: 1 year of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing; valid state license (compact license accepted); minimum 1 year of work experience required
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be willing to work nights and meet the scheduled shift hours
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Position involves float between units, with responsibilities including use of rapid response and code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, PPE and isolation precautions, and charting in Epic system. Candidates must be willing to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays and follow specific scheduling policies. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required, and candidates should not contact facility directly unless arranged through the assigned account manager.
