Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) Days, 12-hour shifts Starting 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027. This position involves providing care to patients with neuro, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, cardiac, and complex medical conditions. The role requires strong neuro skills and adherence to unit-specific protocols in a post-acute care setting.

Job Details

• Certifications/Education/Experience/Location Requirements/Minimum Experience: BLS (American Heart Association); active Illinois license or confirmation of application process; 1 year of clinical experience; ability to work 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Schedule: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include reading strips, attending team conferences, and learning QRP and specific rehabilitation documentation, with orientation consisting of 2 days of class and 2-3 days with a preceptor.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Unit notes specify patient ratios, common diagnoses, and equipment used (e.g., CPAP/BiPAP at night). No remote monitoring by RN, and team conferences are mandatory for RNs.
