Job Summary:
Nashville, TN Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) The organization is seeking a qualified ORT CERT to join their Operating Room team. The role involves supporting a high-volume surgical unit that handles Neuro/Spine and Orthopedic Trauma cases, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient safety. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with opportunities for call coverage.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an Operating Room Technician, with no minimum experience required. The position requires a drivers license or reliable transportation to meet call response times.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit performs procedures including Neuro/Spine and Orthopedic Trauma surgeries, utilizing Robotics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Vascular, ENT, and OMF procedures. Candidates must adhere to hospital-specific policies and dress code (home laundered navy or teal blue scrubs). The department prides itself on a strong team culture, with a current level II Trauma Center moving towards level I.
