Job Summary
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse in the area. This position involves providing exceptional post-operative care to patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The nurse will be responsible for pre-operative and phase 2 nursing duties within a 20-bed unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Location: SDSH Ambulatory Building, Floor: Ambulatory
- Shift: Evenings, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
- Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE certifications; 0 years of experience required; current RN licensure; ability to work in the specified location; must meet education and certification requirements.
- Additional Information: The role involves pre-operative and phase 2 nursing responsibilities, with a focus on team collaboration. The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 3:1, and staff includes a charge nurse and multiple pre-op and post-op nurses. Facilities are equipped with glucometers, GE monitors, incentive spirometers, and EMR Meditech.
