PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) Centennial, CO. This position involves providing post-operative care to patients in a busy PACU environment within a modern and well-equipped facility. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of working with a team to ensure excellent patient outcomes during recovery from anesthesia.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  The PACU RN will be responsible for caring for patients recovering from anesthesia following various procedures, predominantly orthopedic. The unit features 17 bays, with an emphasis on orthopedic, general, and minor plastic surgery cases. Staff collaborate closely with floor nurses for patient admission and discharge.
• Required Qualifications:
  Current RN license, 1-year current PACU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Schedule:
  Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Candidates should be team players, flexible with shifts, dependable, and have a positive attitude. Knowledge of PT/OT instructions for joint patients and comfort with bedside teaching are preferred.
