Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel assignment at a blood and marrow transplant center in Denver, CO. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity unit, supporting patients undergoing complex treatments such as high-risk infusions and neutropenic protocols, and working within a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Details

Position: Registered Nurse - Blood & Marrow Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Denver, CO
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Experience: At least 1 year current Blood & Marrow Transplant ICU experience required; 0 years minimum experience mentioned
Certifications/Education: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certificate; Chemotherapy Certification, BMTCN and/or OCN preferred
Responsibilities: Administration and monitoring of high-risk infusions, blood culture draws, IV medications, neutropenic fever protocols
Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy Certification, BMTCN and/or OCN certifications, experience with high acuity infusion procedures, team-oriented attitude, positive personality fit
Additional Information: Candidate must have current BMT ICU experience, be able to work within unit policies and guidelines, and demonstrate strong teamwork and positivity in a fast-paced environment.
