Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care for newborns, including stabilization and neonatal resuscitation, in a Level II NICU setting. The position requires experienced nurses comfortable working independently in a smaller environment with limited resources.

- Experience or skills: Must have at least 2 years of NICU experience, including Level III; comfortable with neonatal stabilization and resuscitation; confident with high flow nasal cannula, CPAP, and stabilization; skilled in breastfeeding techniques and education; able to work independently with small staff and resources; charge nurse experience preferred
- Responsibilities: Attend deliveries as the baby nurse, manage neonatal stabilization, monitor telehealth and fetal monitors, assist with low census call or standby, float to couplet care, and perform charting in EPIC, with no onsite telehealth support
- Additional notes: Must be able to work independently, hit the ground running, and manage patients with minimal staff and resources. Sterile environment and unit-specific protocols apply.
