Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) the organizations Pacific Campus, a comprehensive maternity services unit with a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, is seeking a qualified RN to join the team. This position involves providing high-risk perinatal care in a Level III facility, supporting labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients, with an emphasis on safety, patient education, and teamwork.

Job Details

• Position Description: L&D RN at a facility specializing in high-risk perinatal care, with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, and 30 postpartum beds. The unit includes 3 surgical operating rooms and 2 post-anesthesia care units.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in the relevant state, at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and current certifications in AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a facility managing 200+ deliveries is preferred; experience in facilities with 100-200 deliveries will be considered.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be able to support high-risk deliveries, assist with sterile vaginal exams, perform fetal monitoring, and manage postpartum care. The unit operates 24/7 with dedicated staff including CRNAs, health unit coordinators, and surgical techs.
