Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients within a hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and facility policies.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Registered Nurse in this role will hold shift accountability for patient care in the Emergency Department by applying critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective treatment. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care appropriately, and supervising assigned personnel.
- Required Qualifications: WY Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications through the American Heart Association, a minimum of 2 recent years of Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting, and 0 years of prior experience requirement.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have past experience working in a hospital emergency setting, demonstrate leadership and critical thinking skills, hold necessary certifications, and be available to start on 11/02/2026 with a contract ending on 01/05/2027.
