Job Summary
Emergency Room RN Level 1 Trauma Center The organization is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide acute care in a Level 1 trauma facility. The role involves managing a diverse patient population, including critical and trauma patients, with responsibilities that encompass a wide range of nursing skills and certifications.

Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room RN Level 1 Trauma
• Location: The organizations hospital environment
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with shifts starting at 7p, 8p, or 9p, requiring 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation of application process, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications, and at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for trauma patients, familiarity with vasopressor and cardiac drips, experience in a teaching hospital setting, and prior travel assignment experience
• Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, titrate drips, interpret cardiac rhythms, and provide comprehensive emergency care in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient in emergency nursing procedures, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-level providers, and radiology staff, and be adaptable to float to support other units if needed
