Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, located at the organizations healthcare facility, is responsible for providing specialized perioperative care to patients. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures with an emphasis on neuro and orthopedic cases, utilizing expertise in complex surgical environments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Job Details

• Position Description: No local candidates within 50 miles of the organizations facility.
• Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm, days vary, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Education: Valid RN license; Years of Experience: 2 years of recent OR experience focused on neuro and orthopedic surgeries; Location: Must be able to work at the specified facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical records, versatility in robotics-assisted procedures, and experience working during major and minor holidays.
• Additional Information: Must have expertise in Neuro and Orthopedic procedures, with occasional robotics experience. Must be flexible and adaptable to varying case types and schedules. Ability to work on major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day) and one minor holiday (such as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve) is required. The role involves call responsibilities.
