Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility location. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Rotating Days/Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Start Date: 10/26/2026
- End Date: 02/13/2027
- Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), minimum of 2 years of in-unit experience, previous travel experience, current EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years, proof of ENPC class with date applied, NIHSS prior to start.
- Additional Requirements: A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Must be flexible with holiday scheduling and work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day).
- Schedule: Rotating Days/Nights; Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
- Submission Requirements: Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained. Complete work history information including bed count, electronic medical record (EMR) system, and facility type to be considered.
- Additional Information: No floating required; charge experience highly preferred; work schedule includes weekends and holidays, with flexibility required. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, with vehicles equipped for winter months.
