Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN Nights Located in the healthcare organizations facility. This role involves supporting various inpatient units, primarily focusing on the Emergency Department, with floating responsibilities across different units based on clinical needs. The position requires flexibility and resourcefulness to manage a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Simplifi Clinical Interviewingprimarily supporting the Emergency Department and floating across multiple inpatient units including MSICU, CVICU, PCU, Observation, CCU, Medical, Surgical, and Rehabilitation units. This position involves working the night shift with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as an RN, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale); experience in ICU, PCU, or Medical-Surgical units; ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and perform IV medication titrations; excellent communication and patient education skills; at least 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare setting with variable patient diagnoses; skilled in handling isolation, non-ambulatory, and complex medical cases; capable of patient transport across hospital departments.
  • Schedule: Night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role involves patient transport throughout the hospital, including admissions, discharges, and transfers across inpatient units and diagnostic departments. Orientation includes two days of hospital onboarding and one day of unit-specific training. Staff must call staffing to confirm assignments timely and adhere to scheduled shift times; no holiday requests, self-scheduling, or on-call duties are expected, and time-off approval is limited to five days with additional requests via email.
