Job Summary
The healthcare provider in Grafton, Wisconsin, is seeking a qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN for night shifts. This role involves managing critically ill patients with diverse diagnoses, including sepsis, strokes, and post-cardiac procedures, within a Level III Trauma Center. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Grafton, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS; 3 years ICU experience, valid license, EPAIC preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiovascular and cardiovascular surgery, IABPs, Impellas
• Responsibilities: Managing ventilator and tracheostomy devices, invasive lines, chest tubes, Foley catheters, post-surgical recovery, and post-cardiac catheterization care; utilizing unit-specific technology including EMR, IV pumps, and monitors
• Support: CNA, Receptionist/HUC, Charge nurse, ICU supervisor, Phlebotomists, Educator, RT, Hospitalist, Intensivist, ICU pharmacist
• Orientation: One day of facility and unit orientation, including a meet and greet with nurse management and a shift with preceptor
• Shift Details: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with a rotating weekend schedule and one holiday per contract.
• Other Notes: Scrub color is flexible; free parking; more than two sick calls may lead to contract review.
