Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) The healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. This role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing and planning patient care, and executing delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted practice standards. The RN will provide supportive and restorative therapy, monitor treatment plans, and promote patient well-being within a clinical setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice, ASN (Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing), BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), 1+ years of nursing experience in a relevant setting.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for health teaching and counseling, documenting in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and utilizing resources effectively. May be required to float within scope of competency and qualifications and be placed on-call during shifts. Prefers candidates with previous experience in a Medical Surgical setting and certification relevant to the unit or service.
