Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) located at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care in a cardiac IMCU/Step Down setting on night shifts. The position requires prior travel experience and includes charge responsibilities with appropriate training and pay differential.

Job Details

• Position Description: Cardiac IMCU/Step Down RN 12-hour night shifts, orientation dates starting 10/19 and 11/2, with biweekly Monday staffing unless otherwise posted. Responsibilities include managing cardiac ICU patients within acuity level care and participating in staff training related to charge responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) as a registered nurse (RN), active nursing license, minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar setting, active VA/Compact license required upon start, and experience with Cerner preferred.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience working in cardiac ICU or step-down units, demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical record systems, and be prepared to work in a team environment that supports students and new hires. Credentialing must be completed one week prior to start date.
• Submission Requirements: Work history with 2 years minimum experience in similar setting, explanation of work gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, copy of Nursys/license, and all requested time-off must be included at submission.
