Description
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a magnet-designated facility located in Alaska. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the operating room environment, supporting a variety of surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes. The assignment is scheduled to start immediately and lasts for 13 weeks, with flexibility in shift start times.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: Valid Alaska RN license in hand required for auto offer; BLS certification mandatory; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts starting between 6:45 AM and 9:30 PM.
- Experience: 0 years required; 2 years of experience preferred, with clinical expertise in operating room procedures and charting experience in Epic.
- Additional Requirements: Previous charge nurse experience is preferred; candidates must be willing to work two major holidays, with call coverage limited to call-offs only.
- Responsibilities: The RN will support a high-volume surgical environment, including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, gynecological, and other complex procedures, utilizing XI Robot and Stealth technologies among other specialized equipment.
- Float: Float within scope to like units may be required.
- Submission: Applications must include RTO requests in the submittal, along with a copy of current certifications, and two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
