Job Details
- Position Description: The OR Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning patient care within the operating room. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting surgeons during procedures, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
- Certifications and Education: Oregon licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Shift Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Experience: 0 years of experience required; travel experience of at least 2 years is mandatory.
- Additional Information: All travel submissions must include prior travel experience; no local candidates will be accepted. Position involves working with expert-level skills in total joints, orthopedics, spine, and Da Vinci robot-assisted surgeries.
