Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Charlotte, NC. This position involves providing high-quality critical care in a busy emergency department that treats a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The RN will be responsible for managing patients with various conditions, including trauma, respiratory illnesses, stroke, and behavioral health issues, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details

  • Position: RN Emergency Room (ER)
  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications. No minimum years of experience required beyond 2 years of ER experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification is highly preferred.
  • Responsibilities include: managing cardiac rhythm interpretation, administering critical care drips, performing PIV starts, and supporting patient care within a fast-paced emergency department.
  • Support within the department: includes unit secretaries, charge nurses, emergency physicians and advanced practitioners, Geriatric APP, hospitalist, intensivist, and other operational staff.
  • Technology and equipment utilized: EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, Panda infant warmer, LUCAS, and Rover communication devices.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to all facilities listed within the region based on operational needs.
  • Orientation: Two days of departmental orientation.
  • Additional information: Candidates will need to work every other weekend, 75% of holidays, and can request up to 6 days off, excluding holidays. No call requirements.
